Meanwhile, his family and his production facilities had moved again, this time to their own property at Gärtnerplatz 1. Johannes Eckart begann nach dem Krieg 1870/71 Gemüse in Konserven haltbar zu machen. Seine Familie und seine Produktion waren inzwischen wieder umgezogen, an den Gärtnerplatz Nr. 1, diesmal ein Eigentum.
