In 1540, Friedrich Eckart moved from Eckenreuth to the neighboring municipality of Hunger, where he bought an estate. It was probably around that time that he got married; he had at least two sons with his wife: Hans and Heinrich. Heinrich Eckart is the one who continued the lineage to today’s Munich line of the Eckart family.
