''„Liebe Kinder. Bey der sehr bedenklichen Zeit, veranlasst es mich, da unvermuthet man abgerufen werden kann, Euch zu gegenseitiger Liebe und Achtung und Ehrung gegen eurer lieben Mutter zu erinnern. Der Herr hat mich gesegnet, und meinen Fleiß und Mühe reichlich belohnt, wodurch ich im Stande bin, Euch lieben Kindern wenn ihr es gut anwendet zu versorgen. Gott dem Allmächtigen meinen innigsten Dank dafür. Laßt stets dem Wahlspruch Eures Großvaters gelten, ‚Mit Gott!
