Prior to 1637, Hans Eckart the Younger bought a farm called "Prechtelhof" in the documents, for a price of 700 guilders.[1] With the purchase, he had to commit himself to paying his lord of the manor, i.e., the Landalmosenamt (provincial alms office), all the taxes and rent demanded by the lord of the manor for the year 1637 which amounted to a total of 45 guilders and 20 kreutzer.
