Friedrich Eckart zog 1540 von Eckenreuth in das benachbarte Hunger, wo er ein Gut kaufte. Um diese Zeit heiratete er wohl auch und bekam mit seiner Frau mindestens zwei Söhne: Hans und [[Heinrich Eckart (-II)|Heinrich]]. Heinrich Eckart ist es, der die Abstammungslinie zu den heutigen Eckarts aus München fortführte.

It was probably around that time that he got married; he had at least two sons with his wife: Hans and Heinrich. Heinrich Eckart is the one who continued the lineage to today’s Munich line of the Eckart family.
